Coundon Court Early Years Centre
In Early Years we are very proud of our high standard of quality childcare and early years education. We have been established over 25 years and have self contained facilities in the Old House. Our Toddler room provides care for 8 children per day and our preschool playgroup 24 children per day.We have two bright attractive rooms, kitchen, bathroom and office, an enclosed playground and full use of the extensive grounds. We have a healthy eating policy and can provide breakfast, lunch and tea for day care children.
All our staff are fully qualified at level 3 experienced Nursery Nurses and are committed to our staff development programme. Our staff to child ratio is:
- 1:3 children 6mths-1 year - school staff daycare only
- 1:4 children 2-3 years
- 1:8 children 3 years and over
Individual care and learning
Each child is treated as an individual and will thrive in our caring and happy environment. We place particular emphasis on personal and social skills which help children to become confident, sociable and self assured. All our activities are carefully planned by each child’s key worker to meet their own individual interests, needs and learning styles using the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
9.00am-12.00pm and 1.00pm-4.00pm Monday to Thursday;
9.00am-12.00pm and 1.00pm-3.30pm Friday,
Additionally, "wrap-around from 8.00am and day care are available
We have funded places available for eligable 2,3 and 4 year olds and take Employers Childcare Vouchers. Wraparound and unfunded places are £4.50 per hour.
We currently have afternoon vacancies for children over 2½ years of age.
