Year 7 Enrichment Carousel
Year 7 Co-Curricular Carousel
“If somebody offers you an amazing opportunity but you are not sure you can do it, say yes – then learn how to do it later.” Richard Branson
I am delighted to announce our Year 7 enrichment carousel for September 2022. This programme is designed to give students access to new opportunities, encouraging the development of a range of skills, including resilience, self-esteem and team building. A broad-range of varied activities are on offer, enriching the school’s curriculum and student experience at Coundon Court.
The carousel works as follows - your child will select a minimum of eight activities they would like to partake in. At the beginning of each half term students will be allocated one of their chosen activities which they will take part in for six weeks. Most sessions will run on a Wednesday and Thursday from 2.50pm to 3.30pm/3.50pm. This programme runs from September to April so students will experience four activities from the carousel in total.
Students will still be able to access whole school co-curricular activities as well as participating in the carousel. The details of all of the wider school co-curricular activities on offer will be available in September, please visit our school website for further information.
