Dress Code

Our dress code reflects the expectations of a modern, professional working environment. Our dress code can be seen below:

Essential

  • Formal, collared shirt or blouse
  • Tailored trousers or skirt or dress
  • Smart shoes/smart boots of a polishable material
  • Lanyards with student ID

Piercings are allowed, as long as they are not hoops or dangle, as this is a health and safety risk.

Hair dye is allowed, but must be consistent with a professional working environment.

Optional

  • Tie of choice (must be worn with shirt collar fastened)
  • Tailored blazer/jacket

Winter/cold weather:

  • Jumper - solid colour, black, grey or dark blue with no visible branding
  • Outdoor coat - solid colour, minimal branding

Unacceptable Clothing:

  • T-shirts
  • Low cut, strappy or cropped tops
  • Tube or body-con style skirts
  • Chunky or baggy jumpers
  • UGG-type boots
  • Shorts
  • Trainers
  • Hoodies
  • Leggings
  • Denim clothing
  • Leather trousers or jackets
