We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our students following their hard work this year.
We are delighted to announce that this year’s cohort have done well and that many of our students will be returning to our Sixth Form for the next academic year, going on to apprenticeships in the city or have secured their desired place at college.

Year 13
We are delighted to announce that this year’s cohort have done brilliantly – improving attainment in all categories and are now off to some fantastic destinations! This reflects the amazing efforts of students and staff.
All of the staff at Coundon Court are extremely proud of all of our students. We wish them every success and look forward to hearing of their continued achievements in the future! 75% of students got into their first-choice university and 82% of students secured their firm or insurance choice university. We also have a number of students heading off to take up positions in some highly respected national companies.

All of our students have done exceptionally well but we wanted to highlight some specific success stories below.
We are thrilled that BA-T is off to study Veterinary Medicine and Science at the University of Surrey having secured A*A*A. DL is off to study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Edinburgh having achieved A*AAA. PG will be studying Mathematics at the University of Manchester having achieved A*AA. BH will be studying Biomedical Science at the University of Sheffield having achieved AAA and DL is set to study Law at the University of Nottingham having achieved A*AB.
In all, 20% of our university applicants secured places in Russell Group universities. Our students have also secured some outstanding opportunities outside of university, including apprenticeships at JLR, Severn Trent, Oasis Mids, Aspire and Dental nursing.
