Congratulations to Our Class of 2026!

Today, we proudly celebrate the achievements of our Year 13 students as they receive their A Level and vocational qualifications results. Their hard work, determination and resilience have been rewarded with another outstanding set of results, continuing Coundon Court Sixth Form's reputation as one of the highest-performing providers in the city.
Building on a record of success that has seen Coundon Court achieve the highest A*-B rate in Coventry in 2023 and 2024, the highest A*-A rate in 2025, and the highest value-added scores in the city in both 2024 and 2025, our students have once again risen to the challenge and delivered an exceptional performance. This year, over 99% of students achieved grades A*-E.

Exceptional Destinations
These impressive results have opened the door to a wide range of exciting opportunities.
We are delighted that 48% of students progressing to university have secured places at Russell Group institutions, with students set to study a diverse range of courses across the country and beyond.

Alongside university destinations, students have secured highly competitive apprenticeships and employment opportunities, including positions with Severn Trent, the NHS, and a Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship in partnership with the University of Warwick.
Academic Excellence Across the Curriculum
This year saw continued success across both traditional academic and vocational pathways.
Particularly impressive performances were seen in a wide range of subjects, with more than half of students achieving A*-B grades in:
Product Design, Further Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, Politics, Business, Sociology, Physics, Geography, Mathematics, French, Media Studies, Textiles, Photography, English Language & Literature, Art & Design and EPQ
These outcomes highlight the breadth of excellence across our curriculum and showcase the commitment shown by both students and staff.

The results reflect not only academic excellence, but also the dedication of our students and staff. With more than four in five grades awarded at A*-C and over half achieving A*-B, the Class of 2026 has set a standard of which they can be enormously proud.

Record-Breaking Vocational Results!
Our vocational students have achieved the strongest outcomes in the school's history.
With a projected Value-Added score of +0.65, students made exceptional progress during their studies and achieved outstanding final results.
These results further demonstrate the strength of the diverse pathways available at Coundon Court Sixth Form and our commitment to ensuring every student achieves their full potential.

We now look forward to welcoming our Year 11 students for the GCSE Results Day next week. Results will be available from 9.00am to 11.00am in the PAC, where Sixth Form enrolment will also take place.
